Drop an e mail to one of the UK based travel agents such as http://www.skisolutions.com/ (no connection) and ask.

As an agent for many companies and individual hotels they may well be able to help.

I have seen some chalets advertised with outdoor hot tubs and hotels but don't think this facility is as common in Europe as the States,

The Omnia in Zermatt has an outdoor whirlpool (with Matterhorn view) and a partial outdoor swimming pool http://www.the-omnia.com/en/feel-well/wellness/

If you don't want to go to Zermatt, get in touch with the local tourist office for the resort you want to visit. They should be able to provide you with a list of hotels that have one.

Following on Bandits suggestion, Bad Gastein, or the nearby Felsentherme ~ heaps of spa orientated places.

I can offer a personal experience. Last season we had a family ski stay at the Hotel Sportiv, Obergurgl. It is directly connected to sister hotel, the Crystal. The Crystal has an indoor pool and a separate outdoor pool. The outdoor pool is warmer, and is surrounded by splendid snow capped mountain views. It also has steam and sauna rooms.

As a bonus, the ski rental is in the basement, the gondola is 10m from the ski room door.

The skiing is wide and varied, you can get the high gondola across to Hochgurgl, and by paying 10 Eu extra, your lift pass covers Solden for a day. (Next valley, 25min bus journey)

I got a good deal when I put a couple of paintings on Inghams web site. (Maybe I would have paid less if I hadn't put the paintings on!)

The hotels are 10 min walk away from the centre, so if you use ski school you need to catch the ski bus. The Sportiv is a fair bit lower on cost, mainly because you have to do the connecting walk, underground or over-road tunnel.

Then there is the Thursday night quiz, won by the Macs!

thanks for all the recommendations. The Sportiv/Crystal in Obergurgl looks really nice. And I haven't been to Austira for years.
Thx for the ski solutions linke as well. I'm going to drop them a line to see what they come up with.
thanks
