The advice I've seen is to bring masses of high factor suncream (for when it's sunny), and re-waterproof your ski gear (for when it's raining!).

Mmm - rain! Let's hope not - even if I am a Mancunian I don't really do rain

I should think there very likely will be some rain in the villages, but hopefully not up on the mountain, especially if you go up high.

When we were in Meribel, in January, it started to rain for a moment when we were ski-ing, but luckily it changed back to snow
