Great photos. I think Go-pros and dash-cams are going to signal a new age of polite enforcement from police and other people with power over us. They'll never know when a camera is rolling.

because I'm so inclined .....

Trencher, I saw that video on Twitter and re-tweeted it ) There is a rather humble comment from the resort management on their Facebook page. Bit embarrassed they are!

Well done Snapzzz!
I am actually impressed with your ability to ski on your third week with that silly box stuck on the end of a pole.

Great video...I think I might be opening up my wallet tomorrow and spending even more money on my new skiing habit! Heading off to Val D'isere on Sat 7th....now possibly with a video camera as well. Any comments on merits of Drift HD versus the Go Pro??? The Drift looks 'neater' on the helmet but possibly better quality with the Go Pro?
slippy slidey snow......me likey!

I can't say i have ever used the Drift so i can't comment.
I chose the GoPro because of the awesome video i have seen and most reviews put it ahead of the other offerings.
Also you will see it used by the likes of the BBC (seen it on top gear) so i trust their judgement!

Agreed...the various reviews seem to suggest the Go Pro provides the best quality output. Did you go with a helmet mount at all? Looks a bit unwieldy compared to the side mount cameras.

I am working on the fall off the Sarene. The file is there but it is corrupt, this happens when the battery dies whilst it is still writing to the card. I think i left the cam on for quite a while after my mishap....Other things on my mind.
There are plenty of suggestions online to recover it so watch this place.
