Breakthrough for SnOasis

You already had them in Norfolk Ian, but they filled up with water and you called them "broads".
that's really disappointing. I have a road near me that I measured (in the car) to be around 500m and every time I drive down it I think of SnOasis. I was looking forward to it.
I've just realised how sad that sounds

people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do
According to this morning's EADT, the latest suggestion for the Snoasis site is a velodrome! This comes from the council leader Tim Passmore who has urged the Snoasis developers to get on with it or find a new use for the land.
One of the key Snoasis elements was its own railway station and a condition of the development was that the station should be open six months before Snoasis itself opened.
Mr Spanner says there have been serious delays because of changes to the rail franchises over the last few years but he was still confident that work on the project could start later in the year. Mr Spanner also confirmed that the finance for the project was still secure.
Hmmmmm

And me about 20 minutes
I live in a village nearby, fed up would be a polite way of expressing my feelings. There does seem to be a Spanner in the works!
This wouldn't be the same , errm, bankrupt, Godfrey Spanner....
