anti fog cream/spray for lens

after the trouble we had last year with goggles fogging up, i wondered if it was worthy buying.
or are the sprays better? please dont tell me to buy expensive goggles as really the budget wont really stretch to more than £20 per pair as we have 4 to buy for and i am debating on whether to get prescription goggles for my 9 year old, after having said that we just bought him prescription footy goggles to protect his face when playing footy for £100 and he has packed it in!

this brought me back a few years when i used to wear glasses (i have had my eyes lasered), but i remember going to blackpool and buying this pink cream which worked brilliant for cleaning glasses and stopping them steaming up. i wonder if that would do the trick and whether you can still buy it? I only ever saw it for sale in blackpool. I am going back about 10 years or so.

at that price i think i might buy some and give it a try on sons glasses

I've just bought some anti-fog lens cleaner in our local sports shop and it only cost a couple of quid. I will let you know how I got on with it when I get back.

I don't think its worth you money and time to get your son the prescription goggles as he is only 9 and next season they may be too small for him.
To give you the tip I where contacts lenses wile on the snow.
But then again I don't even no if kids where lenses?

littleski it is possible for kids as young as 8 to wear contact lens, it all depends on the child. i have tried him with them but he just cant get away with them unfortunatley as they would solve a lot of problems. He does have a large head for a 9 year old though (56cm) lol

last year he just did the goggles over the glasses, but it wasnt ideal. not sure what to do for the best really.

Well maby you should invest in a pair for him
And say to him you break them you pay for them!!

If you really want him to get the best out the sport get him a pair but shop around

Have you tried him without goggles? I wear glasses and never wear goggles as I do not need them, I might be wrong, usually am, but unless you go incredibly fast, or if it is very windy or you do night skiing then he shouldn't need them, although he would need sun glasses. I have these that change from dark to light

mark on our last holiday he tended to wear his goggles on his helmet lol. I am thinking of when we need to ski when it is snowing. he hates the cold and wearing goggles when the cold snow is beating on your face protects it a lot and keeps the elements out. he has prescription sunglasses too.
