Am looking at Kranjska Gora or Kanin in Slovenia for a mixed ability group of adults. If you've been to either, I'd be interested in your comments before committing out hard-earned.

Thanks.

Hi - just seen this - we've just booked to go to Bovec at half term. There's new link in between the resort of Bovec and the Italian resort of Sella Nevea. I know the hotels there as I've been in summer and love the resort.

I've also been to Kranska Gora and Maribor, but again in summer only - I find Slovenia very friendly and excellent value for money. The ski areas are smaller than in some of the other european countries, but I find the hotels often make up for this - the ones I have stayed in all had excellent spa facilities. Let me know if you do go to Kranska Gora as I'd be interested to hear what it's like.

Thanks Katie. Having been to Courchevel and La Tania and only skied a fraction of the available slopes, a smaller ski area shouldn't be a problem (unless anyone who knows better than me - potentially most of you - would like to speak up). Main concern about KG is that it's not very high so will the snow conditions be good. Will be monitoring snow reports carefully......which ones do people trust the most? Regards, Phil.
