There was a nasty drag lift in Les Carroz, behind the Hotel les Airelles. It started off with such a jump - yuk. It was the best way to get to the gondola station other than using the ski bus. However, I hated it so much that I elected to use the bus every day. I'm a wimp and proud of it!

Good hotel for a weekend ski trip, Les Airelles.

Nice hotel, great food. Would stay there again. Unfortunately when we were there, the people in the next room had a baby that cried every morning at 6am. Apart from the early wake-up call, we still enjoyed our holiday.

and wibbling away !!!
I was awoken most morning at about 6.00 by a child crying as well. I do feel for parents when this happens as I know there is often so little that can be done.
I was amazed when I found out who it was as we had nick-named this kid "smiler" as she was having such a wonderful holiday and was so cheerful all the rest of the day.
I reckon she just wanted to get her parents up and out so she could play in the snow some more.

you feel for parents? I feel for the poor kid. Sorry, but babies shouldn't be taken on holidays abroad. We did Pontins and Haven when ours were small and they LOVED it. Moved on to further fields as they got much older. What's in it for the baby? And what if they get sick in a foreign country miles from anywhere? They can't say what's wrong or how they feel. Sorry but it's awful and selfish. Wait till the poor mite is old enough to enjoy going abroad and can remember it five years later! If it's an older child just having a bad night, fair enough, but babies should not be taken abroad.

My daughter has traveled abroad since the age of 7 months now at the age of 10 a seasoned traveller. Never had any problems with her, any way you can't hear her in the boot  October she will do her first long haul flight.
