Nendaz

Hi all

Planning a trip to Nendaz with a group of 16 - snowboarders, skiers and children. Anyone been and can give any info on the resort or tips? Plan to fly into Geneva even though Sion closer we can't seem to find flights form the North West area.

Sion is a hard landing and few planes or pilots are rated for it which is why there's so few flights, public transport from GVA is easy though, there's a direct train from GVA to Sion.

Nendaz is popular with UK families and has it's own ski area with a lot of intermediate runs with some haphazard links to the rest of the 4 valles, it's very popular.

I have skied the Nendaz sector of the 4 Valleys and thoroughly enjoyed it. The link into Verbier is, as Ise pointed out, odd.

I have skied and stayed in Nendaz. It was okay, but we christened it Bracknell on Ski, as the architecture left us a little underwhelmed.

Good view of Sion though....

that's a bit unfair, Bracknell really isn't that bad
