bluebird wrote:6 sleeps till st anton after a 6 year absence.never been so looking forward to a trip ever.booked into piste to powder for the week.big dump forecast thur, fri,,sat.been to stubai and obertauern already this season, obertauern ok,not in the same league as st anton..

That dump you predict.....its been suggested that Thursday/Friday will warm up massively and it will rain across much of Austria, putting the Hannenkahm in jeopardy this coming weekend.

It should turn to snow later in the weekend when temps drop again, but rain as high as 2000m is forecast. Sorry to pee on anyones chips.
not my prediction! snow forcast.com.bergfex,piste to powder,j2ski,all predicting between 40 -150cms for the arlberg from thurs till sunday.
snow forcast showing some rain at village level thur afternoon ,evening, then snow right thru till sunday, that will do me,although st anton is the lowest of villages in the arlberg region ,it is still a lot higher than kitzbuel
