Diverted to an airport in Germany which was expected but only two hours from the Arlberg. Stopped once in the coach to fit snow chains and continued onto Zug. The major pass was closed 30 minutes after we arrived at destination  Had a great week. Tony, Wickers and co will have one hell of good time :D

Now 20 sleeps to Sestriere, bring it on :D
Ah, that'll be Friedrichshafen then.

I've seen photos from St Anton last week and it looks incredible.

That dump you predict.....its been suggested that Thursday/Friday will warm up massively and it will rain across much of Austria, putting the Hannenkahm in jeopardy this coming weekend.

It should turn to snow later in the weekend when temps drop again, but rain as high as 2000m is forecast. Sorry to pee on anyones chips.

The ski club are predicting up to 70cm of snow in some Austrian resorts, so even if it does rain, hopefully the snow will make up for it afterwards.

BTW TH, if you spontaneously combust before you go skiing, can I take your place?

I should add; that snowfall is over the next 9 days.
