I had the measles when I was 19, and thought I was going to die. I was down to 135 lbs at 6'1". Quite an awful week. I've heard that the chicken pox are similar for adults. One ex-marine told me that it was worse than anything he had ever experienced in the military.
Awwwwwww poor Rose, Get well soon love.
I`d never had them until i was 3 days post natel after having my daughter.
I woke one morning feeling pretty s**t and couldnt breath properly, The midwife said i had been over doing it as i had had a caesarian. The next day i was back in hospital and my daughter had to have an injection of hema globulin. An xray showed i had chicken pox on my lungs. If you have problems catching your breath other than cold congestion, Go and see the doc.

Not feeling brilliant at the moment, absolutely exhausted. Had to admit defeat yesterday and stop work so I will be able to take anti-histamine now, it does not matter how drowsy I get. Also have a course of aciclovir so should speed up recovery. Doctor said they have had between 50-60 cases of CP this week alone.
I'm a laydee
I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad Rose, I hope you feel better soon.

Have a good rest,

Ally
