Anyone organising a group?

Well, firstly I need a hand designing the survey. I've never done one before. Most importantly we need suggestions for resorts that we think will suit all levels of ski ability and skiers and snowboarders.

I decided to have a go at this because my daughter's uni ski club managed to organize a group ski holiday and I thought that if fifty 18-21 year olds could do it then we could definitely manage it!

They organized it through 'offthepiste.com' and everyone was responsible for making their own bookings and paying their own deposit etc. However, it was a coach trip and I don't know if these people do flights.

So - we need suggestions for reliable companies that do groups and would allow us to organize it so that everyone is responsible for their own bookings.

This is such a tricky one.

A big part of me loves the idea of joining up with a biggish group of other j2skiers.

But I know that for me at the moment (ie; until something changes in my life) I doubt I would ever be in a position to book and commit.

Three types of ski holiday for me.

1 - with wife.
2 - with sister and niece
3 - alone - booked last minute, if I'm lucky, the snow is good and I have been a good boy at home

And none of these would allow for the said j2ski trip.

Pity really - I would be really jelous if somehow this all got off the ground.

How about a final, end of season, trip? Let everyone do their thing all year and meet up for a late march trip in a high altitude jolly?

I don't see why it would matter if your sister and niece, or wife were with you. I mean, you wouldn't have to ski with the J2Ski group - just go on the same date to the same place and stay in the same accommodation. It's not like we're going to book a giant bunk room in a hostel

And, it would be nice to ski with you and Snapzzz and all the other regulars, and meet lots of new J2Skiers

And, thinking about it, it would probably be better if everyone sorted out their own means of getting there because I suspect that for a group booking everyone would have to leave from the same airport, and we are all scattered about the U.K.

We (myself and wife) may be up for this depending on location. As we've already booked our family trip in school hols, that's our expensive trip away so we would want to go for a week during the low season. I was eyeing up 1st or 2nd week of Feb which is before half term and probably optimum time in terms of snow quality/weather. If mid March onwards then this would need to be one of the high resorts.

Might be worth running this whole thing along a bit to see how it pans out?

I've just had a look on the Igluski site to see which resorts they recommend for groups. I think the U.S. and Canada are too far away so I haven't included them. The other resorts are:
