I'm heading out to L2A 22nd March for a 4 day stag do. We're staying at the Venosc end of town staying at Les Residence de Muzelle.

Can anyone tell me because I cant really tell looking at anything online, but from what I can gather, the top end of town doesnt really have much going on, the middle of town has a few bars and the Venosc end has a few as well.
Also, how long does it realistically take to walk from the Venosc end to the middle part where the lifts are located?

Thanks for your help.

Si

Hi Sicarr24, yes there are quote a few bars in the centre of town and towards the Venosc end. probably the most popular in the centre would be Smokey Joes and the Secret Bar, heading towards where you're staying you'll find the Polar Bear, then a bit closer you've got Smithy's and right nesr the Place de Venosc is the Red Frog. These are just a few, but been in them all and they're pretty good.

To walk from the Place de Venosc to the centre will take you no more than 10 minutes at the very maximum.

We're there next week - very excited now.
Up there for thinking, down there for skiing...

Need some advice . looking at our flight times we land and around 9.30am and should be in the resort for 12.30 ish. i have seen they do half day lift passes and they start from 1.30. this would be a real bonus as we get a few hours added skiing but i also thought to really make the most of it why not get my partner some ski tuition to hopefully help build her confidence and start the holiday on a positive. ready for our first full day sunday. can anyone offer advice as.to where to go or whether they think this is a good idea ???? many thanks.

ps dumping.it down again for the second weekend.running now juat hope it continues for the rest of this month so march is as good as jan has been and feb looks to be.

We got back on Saturday. Snow was ok then on the runs I was doing. A little icy at the top of the glacier in the morning but better in the afternoon.

It was snowing as we left Saturday morning but I'm not sure how much fell.
