New kit for this year

OK, whos already bought some new kit for this season and what other purchases do you have planned?

I got some North Face gloves as my old ones had started to wear thin and were coming apart in places, a grey and black North Face windproof jacket for those warmer days, and I surprised myself by getting a red Dare2be jacket in TK Maxx because it looked and fitted really well.

I intend to get some new sallopettes, probably Columbia cargo pants like the ones I have now as they fit so well, and I really want a blue Arc'teryx Alpha SL jacket, but that might be asking for too much at those prices. I have been advised to upgrade to stiffer boots as well, but will probably try and look for these when I am abroad (see what the euro rate is like at the time).

Oh, and some new sunglasses as I keep breaking every damned pair I buy lately!

I havent bought anything yet as we havent got a holiday booked :( so i dont see the point as yet.But my wish list is a lot longer than my i need list :mrgreen:
A new jacket and some boots are what i need, Lets just hope the kids dont have a growth spurt again,They got re kitted out only last season,Or bang goes my boots :shock:

And how the Dickens are you going to get 4 pairs of pants and 8 jackets (or do you have even more kit now?) into one suitcase??

Er, that was you I think!

And I am going to have to come up with a process of selection. I will only take 2 pairs of pants, as previously, and they go in my ski bag anyway along with 2 jackets, so dont panic Mr Mainwairing.

Just purchased Vist Superfront Twos.

Have bought silk glove liners and boot liners and silk thermals. Some North face gloves, new O'neill aprs-ski boots. Fur russian type hat. Thats about it, may-be a new jacket, something with a down type lining. Am so sure its going to be a lot colder. Anything that TK Max or ebay tempts me with. Oh yes and an O'Neill scarf.

I also need some new salopettes, bought white O'neill ones last year, Hubby cant stand them, says in the snow my jacket looks like its walking around with no legs.

No new kit for me this year, got everything new towards the end of last season, all my money is going on trains, planes, accommodation, lift passes and booze.
