Following the success of the "This is me" thread, I thought we could have a "Guess Where" thread

If there is issues with bandwidth etc Dave, just delete.

I'll start with a slope as it should be skied/boarded......e.g. with no/one on it.

"Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is 'What are we gonna call ourselves?' Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between 'The League Against Salivating Monsters' or my own personal preference, which is 'The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'. Erm, one drawback with that - the abbreviation is......

I have no idea, but isnt it great when the slopes are like that?

Perhaps the person who guesses correctly should be the next one to post their picture until thats guessed, and so on....?

I am going to hazard a guess at yours: Tignes?

Good idea!

And no it's not Tignes. Are we gonna limit the number of guesses per person?

Yeah, it is great when it is like that, that is when you can take a risk or two by yourself without involving anyone else. The best time of day

Not Les Arcs.

If it goes on for a wee while I will post another picture of the same place.

Good thread Tino... and Tony's rules sound good; whoever gets it posts the next picture.

I'd guess at somewhere in the Valais - no idea where really but the restaurant looks fairly big so probably a good-sized resort. Zermatt?

Picture Size - It's not so much the bandwidth but the pixel-width - please could everyone keep their piccies (in this thread and elsewhere) a maximum of 600 pixels wide? Otherwise those with less-than-widescreen monitors have to do a lot of scrolling...

I thought so, just from the shape of the piste markers.

Hmmm. I would only be guessing now, so hows about Saalbach?
