So, wheres everyone heading off to next season? I know its early doors, but even if you dont have something confirmed yet, most people have a plan of where they intend to go.

Its my wifes 40th in Jan, so a group of us are going to Bad Gastein. Looks like a good choice, large ski area, excellent snow record, Austrian apres ski prices, short transfer.

I also want to get out to Serre Che for a week next season. Its had a lot of investment and I want to do it before it gets really popular, as the travel companies predict.

Its possible that I will also make the annual pilgrimage to Mayrhofen, but that will very much depend on what the snow is like and what deals can be done. Having had a fantastic week in Verbier recently, I am quite keen to take the Mrs there and show her just how good it was.

I can only manage 3 weeks per season, so it all depends on what comes up when. The Dolimiti Superski area is also on the wishlist - Arabba, Selva, Val di Fassa or Canazei would do nicely. We will see in time.

Whats in everyone elses plan?

The group want to go back to tignes so we'll probably do that but if I can get a week in before hand I want to go somewhere that'll be kind to me post-op (unlike dave's friend in la grave!). I was thinking of ste foy but I'm not so sure now, maybe flaine or saas fee, but we'll probably end up in val thorens (though I wanted to save that for when I was strong enough to ski the cime de caron).

Hopefully Chile in the summer, but not talked the missus into it yet.

Next season, with the boys in Mayrhofen in spring is a definate. Hopefully Val Thorens early season with old school pals, and maybe a cheeky week somewhere else in Austria.

"Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is 'What are we gonna call ourselves?' Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between 'The League Against Salivating Monsters' or my own personal preference, which is 'The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'. Erm, one drawback with that - the abbreviation is......
