Don't worry everyone, I fall over loads, so you're bound to capture a good one on camera for Facebook and J2Ski later

My biggest problem is that if I fall over on a flat piece, like queuing for a lift or outside a cafe, I can't get back up because I've got too old and stiff. I can manage fine if it happens on a black slope because the gradient makes it easy. I am thinking of going to yoga classes or something, to loosen me up again.

It's nearly time to start thinking about getting fit to ski again for this holiday.

I just got up with a raging hangover, and funnily enough, I was thinking exactly the same thing as I was cleaning my teeth I think the toothpaste reminded me of snow

If that's the case, you must feel like you've been skiing everyday

I thought it was about time I did an update on this group holiday to Tignes.

We currently have 12 J2Ski members and their friends and family booked into 8 rooms of the 15 available in the chalet.

I phoned Bonjour and they said things have been quiet over the summer and they haven't had any non J2Ski bookings for this chalet for this week. However, interest is picking up now as people come back from their summer holidays and begin to think about ski-ing again.

So, this holiday is still open to anyone else who wants to come with us. The basic price is £399 for a shared room in the catered chalet. The single supplement is £200. It's only £199 for children 13 and under sharing a family room with 2 adults. And there is a £100 discount for 3rd and 4th adults sharing a family room with 2 adults.

You have to book your travel to the chalet yourself. Flights from London (for example) to and from Geneva are still available for around £100. There is public transport available between Geneva and Tignes Les Brevieres, as well as a coach run by the chalet. The timetable doesn't seem to be up yet for Bens Bus or Altibus, but last year Altibus charged 106 euros return between Geneva and Tignes.

Further details are on the first page of this thread. Please note this is Sunday to Sunday.
If anyone is interested in coming with us would they please post on here or send me a private message, thanks
