That was Before the price hike, the cheapest is Schneeberger is now £610 pp to £689.
Mad with myself as missed best price, can't decide to book or wait to see if any prices drop.

Checked DIY, flights, transfers and hotels and works out more expensive.

We have booked pension Diane niederau half board through Inghams 28th Dec 7 nights £450.00 p/p. They have sold out of that offer but there are rooms through the hotel direct at 50euro pppn half board. You can get flights from Manchester to Frankfurt 2hr wait then fly to Innsbruck its then 40 mile transfer cost of flight at the moment £120.00 http://www.niederau.com/index.php link to the hotel good luck.

Thats a good shout about the Dianne, it's a good place, and great people.
So that is £300 for the Dianne, HB, £96 for the lufthansa to Munich, if still available. Train/taxi =£57.
Total = £453.
Think I will cancel Scheffau!
New Year in Niederau is fabulous. Because it is a hanging valley, (caused of course by the famous dragon), the fireworks are seen for 360 degress on the mountain tops.
There is a more expensive choice of transfer, door to door, with Four Seasons.

Lufthansa price has only gone up to £140. So total £497.

Have a look at Sportcafe Pension Marianne, comes highly recommended. www.niederau.at

Wow, what a great price in their brochure I've got Dianne is not in there. Looked at it through your link and looks lovely.

Where are you flying from ?
Maybe that makes a difference.

Going to give Inghams a call and see what they can come up with.

So thanks for the tip. Also going to look at DIY though doubt it could match that price you got, as for 4 of us 7 nights Dianne euros1400 + flights + transfers will be a tight call.

I did the sums for you Jane! You can also do car hire from Munich, not cheaper, but give you wheels to go to Westendorf.
