I solved this problem by having a short nap (half an hour) at lunch time in my apartment, in between my two lots of lessons, when I was feeling a bit tired and not particularly well (due to my broken toe, although I didn't know this at the time). I felt a lot better after my nap, and managed to ski all afternoon

Maybe they should provide bunks in mountain cafes (like in playgroup) so that tired skiers can have a quick nap before their 'one more run'

That's very kind of you, but I used to have an eight year old myself (twice in fact, before they grew up), and you can keep her

I'm too old for that sort of thing now

I've now reached the age where I need a nap in the afternoon on my ski holidays
