Its the link between Sauze and Sestriere, and people travel both ways. Its not a lift up to a piste.

I was gutted that lift was shut when we were there. I've always wanted to ride a one man. Mmm, that sounds wrong.

Mayrhofen pics:
1. Red 7 taken from the cafe past the first chairlift. Yes, Tino, its my favorite run on the Penken side because in the right conditions you can get a right lick on, and its also quite varied.
 


I love that run, specially coming off the steep through the shallow part where the blue crosses it. Reduce my height from about 6'5" in boots to about 3'6" by crouching and getting down the length of it (I guess 700-800m) using my edge no more than 3 or 4 times......would love to know what speed I was doing but I was overtaking decent skiers and boarders like a Porsche 911 overtakes a forkift on the autobahn.

"Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is 'What are we gonna call ourselves?' Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between 'The League Against Salivating Monsters' or my own personal preference, which is 'The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'.
