J2Ski group holiday to Tignes January 13th 2013

Morning Maggie

I am on this trip. I am 48 and would say I am a decent intermediate. Happy on just about anything which has been pisted, not too bad on some of the natural type runs or runs which are not "too" mogully, but almost no experience off piste.

I am sure Ally (who is arranging the trip) will be along later, but I am pretty sure there are places available in the Chalet at the moment.

Edit. Sorry Maggie, I should have added a welcome to the forum. I am sure you will love it here and find all sorts of ski related info if you need it.

Well as it stands at the moment, solo traveller so would be looking for a female to share with probably. If Ally could let me know if this is possible then I can take it a step further. Thanks

Morning and thanks for that Far Queue. I definitely think some lessons are in order for me, bit of a confidence thing. What part of the country are the people who are going from, just curious!

A bit of a mix really. I am from just South of London.

Oh right I will wait to hear from Ally then and see what she says about someone to share with. It gives something to look forward to anyway.

My husband and I (gosh that sounds topical) are also going on this trip and we hover around the late 40's. We are from Norwich. Both intermediate skiers although he is much better than me.

It is probably best if you send AllyG a private message, so she can give you all the details. Several of the members of the group that are going are sharing, so this is perfectly possible.

We will be very pleased if you decide to come with us, the more the merrier and we intend to have a fantastic time.
