is an area of outstanding natural beauty.

In Bohinj you can ski on VOGEL , Senožeta , or Soriška planina too. For the snowboarding VOGEL is suitable. For the skating will be some skating rinks, and perhaps will be ice on Lake Bohinj too. Possible is cross-country skiing in valleys of Bohinj.

You can try even (night) sledding or climbing on iced waterfalls.
And you can choose winter trekking (to Komna on Vogar , ... ) or
make only walk by lake or along river Sava Bohinjka.

From Bohinj you can make trip to BLED or to
New'Year's adorned LJUBLJANA , you can see
alive Christmas crib in the POSTOJNA caves.
