One of my clients in Scotland came out in Shingles the week after I went to visit her, and I have been feeling well under par this week with fuzzy head and tiredness, blocked nose and one ear not hearing properly, so I hope its not hitting me.

I really feel for you, its rank.

Thats exactly how I have been feeling the last 10 days, kept thinking a cold was on its way, then the spots. I spent 30mins with a worried grandmother over her grandchild that I diagnosed as chickenpox.

Rose,
you mean, you've got to work when you're ill with chicken pox? How awful.
Poor you.

Chicken pox is rife at the moment, my friends 2 year old has it and they have had to keep him away from everyone for 5 days (doctors orders) whilst he is contageous.

Hope you get well soon Rose xx

I think you are contagious the couple of days before the spots arrive, you are not contagious when spotty

I don't remember having chicken pox but I do have the scars so I guess I must have done at some point
I had the pleasure of chicken pox when I was six months pregnant.

Not only did I feel fat, spotty and covered in that horrid white stuff, it was during Euro '96 and all my mates were down the pub watching the England v Scotland, as was mr a (I insisted). One of the lowest points in my life, there were lots of tears

Just to add insult to injury I'm covered in scars, one of which is in the middle of my eyebrows

I hope you feel better soon Rose
people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do
