Surely some banging beats are what's needed.... I love my indie like the next man but try some euphoric trance.... it's like shepherds pie sandwiches...
Haha...with you on that one
What I didn't include on my list was Episode 47 or DJ Tiesto's podcast with some fantastic tracks on it including
Rank 1 - Airwave
Gianluca Motta - Not Alone
.........and a banging remix of Utah Saints - Something Good

"Erm, I think we're losing sight of the real issue here, which is 'What are we gonna call ourselves?' Erm, and I think it comes down to a choice between 'The League Against Salivating Monsters' or my own personal preference, which is 'The Committee for the Liberation and Integration of Terrifying Organisms and their Rehabilitation Into Society'. Erm, one drawback with that - the abbreviation is...... |

Tony_H maybe i'm being a bit unfair.
Ok, granted, can't stand me now is a good song, but he's done nothing of a similar caliber since, in fact, I'd say he's spent most of his post "can't stand me now" career trying to copy his own song.
Oh and he IS a grade a c*ck!!

I concur on that one.
What about Icehouse "hey little girl", tubeway army "are friends electric", thomas dolby "europa and the pirate twins", adam and the ants "dog eat dog", some of my favourites. no pisstaking on thomas dolby if you've never listened to the album "aliens ate my buick". the guy's a genius

Yes, yes, listened to it all. Which is why I can say I dont like Japan at all, and most of Thomas Dolby's stuff either.
Gary Numan is ok in small doses.
I was and still am a huge Depeche Mode fan too.
Icehouse were Australian. I have that single on vinyl somewhere, and its on my Ipod too. But it was the only decent thing they did, like most Australian bands, with the exception of AC DC who really know how to rock. And you can add Jet to the exception rule too.

I'm not one to usually comment on such matters, but I have to agree - he is right up there in the poop league with Tiesto and the Bonkers crew.
