Zermatt (wanted to get there this year but failed), La Clusaz (as usual - home from home) and maybe Banff. Niederau appears to be compulsory for j2ski-ers so I'd better go there and see the Jan-Man at some point.
Oh, and Zinal, just to poach some of Ise's lines (although I think I've got a fat chance of beating him up the mountain without a heli-drop...).

Zermatt was on my hit list, but when I mentioned it to a few people, they all put me off with various reasons. Is it really all its cracked up to be?
Mind you, I didnt have Verbier on my wish list, and ended up having a fabulous weeks skiing there.

Tony H, you have to include Zermatt. You can leave it a few years, though, if you wish, Zermatt's greatest attribute is the Matterhorn.
We had a week there last year, but were sufficiently attracted to take a day off from Saas Fee and get another Zermatt day.
There are drawbacks, getting up the mountain in the crowded big cabines, and the associated lift queues, are a pain. Once up the mountain, it is pretty open. The views are terrific, from Zermatt, and from the top. Skiing through to Italy for lunch is very pleasant.

I guess when you typed in Niederau and nothing came up, that was a pretty big clue?
I would try Inghams if you want to prebook. However, you can always get very cheap deals on the usual websites - bookableski.co.uk, skideals.co.uk if you can be a little more flexible and book later. Pensions/Guesthouses there can be had for as little as £150 B&B per person, inc flights and transfers.
