Which resort? Don't go to a major; go somewhere small with atmosphere; with minimum walking and a really good skischool. End Feb will be pretty snowsure everywhere so that's not an issue. Consider the Madrisa Hotel in Gargellen in Austria. Early nursery slope outside the hotel; lift up to other nursery slope a very easy walk, 2 mins; great hotel with all amenities and good food; super ski school and being Austria ski school is all day (it isn't in France or Switzerland). And very, very pretty and lots of gemutlichkeit. Skiing is a bit limited but not an issue for early skiers and Gaschurn is down the road with lots.
It really does fill/tick all the boxes, I think. Enjoy wherever
