I'm in
Geneva airport now, waiting for the transfer to
Tignes, and the prices here are quite incredible - so don't forget anything. A deodorant costs 15 Swiss Francs.
But we have just discovered that there is a cheap supermarket by the station (in the airport), so if anyone is flying into or out of Geneva in January for this holiday, then that's the place to go to buy food and drink. A huge bottle of fizzy water only cost 1 Swiss franc, and we got bread, salad and olives etc. and we're having a cheap picnic in the airport.
Leaving luggage here is pretty expensive as well - 10 Swiss francs per item, but the day travel pass into Geneva city was very cheap.
