Hi Joe,
Well done for getting your flights booked
If next year's bus timetable is the same, then you should be able to catch a bus in Geneva at 15-30 which arrives in Les Brevieres at 18-30
What time is your flight back?
Edit
Now we're on a new page I'd just like to remind everyone that we still have places available on this J2Ski group holiday to Tignes Les Brevieres. But you have to book by 1st May to get our group discount. After this date the chalet owners, Bonjour, will start letting the surplus rooms to other guests.
The holiday details are on the first page of this thread. If you're interested in coming with us would you please send me a pm or post a message on this thread.
Thanks,
Ally

Ally, my flight is 13.50
so no skiing for me Sunday
so no skiing for me Sunday
Skiing is a dance, and the mountain always leads?
Oh well, never mind Joe. At least it means you can use the cheaper chalet transfer to Geneva, as long as you don't mind getting up very early! Otherwise you could pay a bit more, get up a bit later, and take the bus to the airport.
It looks like Cat and I will be ski-ing on our own on the final Sunday.

I like to book things and pay for them early because it helps spread out the cost. Skiing, being quite an expensive hobby, is all the more enjoyable if I do not have to worry about a big bill all in one go.
I often book little weekend "adventures" well in advance and pay for them ahead because they are such a treat when they come around and they feel like they have cost less. It's an illusion I know but gives us something to look forward to all the time. We have a concert at O2 booked for December complete with hotels etc., all paid for already, so it will seem like a real treat when we go and I will (hopefully) have forgotten how much I paid for the tickets!!
If you tell me how much you paid for the tickets, I will remind you in November, anything to help![]()
Thanks.............. for nothing!
I can see my house from here...
It's the price I have to pay for the lift passes that I find the hardest to forget
But I usually buy those last, hopefully when there's a good exchange rate. I've got those rechargeable cards so all I have to do is put their numbers in on the lift pass website - and pay a great deal of money
So far they've always worked when I get to resort, but I usually have an anxious moment when I go through the first lift turnstile!

Ally I must admit that's the bill I most resent paying, as it seems so expensive on top of everything else.
However, when you see the piste bashers out all night making lovely smooth runs for us to use the next day, you understand why it's so expensive. They must cost a fortune.
New chair lifts don't come cheap either and of course they are only in use for a few months of the year. So they have loads of expensive equipment which sits idle most of the time.
I guess I can put up with it, so long as it snows and I can use the stupid ski pass that is!

I will be going to London tomorrow (Saturday) before heading off for my mini 3 day ski holiday in Tignes on Sunday. I will be back home on Thursday (26th April). I will still be reading and sending messages but less frequently than usual.
Another room in the chalet has definitely been booked by a J2Skier, and possibly one more room as well
But we still have rooms left if anyone else is interested.
We only have 10 days left until the deadline of 1st May, set by Bonjour. After this date anyone else who wants to come will have to book directly with Bonjour, and won't get our group discount. And there may not be any rooms left.
