Our party is myself & youngest son who are skiers, plus his son and my eldest son who haven't
skied before.
And my grandson has to be with his mother Christmas Day understandably.
Hence headache with dates and not being able to get our normal last minute deals.

Bearing all that in mind, I had been veering towards Simmerlwirt as was closer to lifts etc and more in centre even though it is more expensive.
However, if they were nearly next door to each other
would go for cheapest.
The Harfenwirt on trip advisor has really bad feedback.

Both my sons want to go package not DIY (didn't even bother to pursue as my head wants to burst)

Dave your farmhouse holiday sounds idyllic.

Niederau itself is very good for beginners.

Dunno about marmite, decent schnitzel, though. Herbert gets some stick because he is somewhat unconventional, he tries to do almost everything himself in a 200 bed hotel.
Highlight of the week are his harp evenings, one which is geared to children.
Most nights I eat with him, and while he supplies the wine, I supply marketing advice. He is a kindly man, but can appear to be a bit gruff.
Hence people who want Hilton standard presentation are going to write adversely on TA. Those who like charachter will be delighted.

Getting really stressed out now.

The Harfenwirt is coming out too expensive and the Schneeberger has shot up too.
