I forgot to mention, on a negative note...

We get back on the saturday and, because of my new responsibilities at work, I have to go in on the [Easter] sunday and the bank holiday monday and then the Tuesday is my first proper day taking on my new responsibilities. Rank eh? And none of it my doing

Its a shame, I cop for Good Friday and Easter Monday this year, I thought I was going to have a nice four day break.
I'm a laydee
Caron,
How many days are left now? Have you done your packing, and how're the exercises going?

I have to work Good Friday and the Saturday as well, because we've got holidaymakers going out and coming in. I guess probably quite a lot of people have to work Easter week. Let's hope not too many people have to work actually on Easter Sunday.

All the best for your holiday

Ally
Enjoy Caron, Are you still going to Ober'g next season?
I just love the gravitational pull
Ally: 6 and a half sleeps
it was really exciting seeing a few mates in the pub last night arranging our pre-holiday drink next friday evening. It's gotta be an early one though, we're the first collection at 2:30am

I really haven't had a lot of luck with the exercises. Mine of choice is yoga and my left shoulder is still killing me from the awful drag lift (on a board backwards) at Hemel a few weeks back. Still, I've felt with boarding that it isn't as tiring as skiing and I'm generally quite fit so, hopefully, I may be ok.

Alistair: We've done Obergurgl twice now so may leave it for a while before we may or may not go back. I absolutely love it there but if I don't go anywhere else I may not find somewhere I love even more . Absolutely no idea about next season yet, which isn't like me at all!

Hi Caron,
2:30 a.m. is a ridiculously early time to get picked up. I hope you manage to get some sleep somewhere along the way

I hope your shoulder recovers soon. I damaged my rotator cuff last March, moving a very large flower pot, and it was months before it was better, although I went to see the osteopath about it and put ice on it. I think it might have been my own fault for continuing to work and lift heavy weights with it. I would say your shoulder needs rest as well. I hope Arabba has lots of suitable chairlifts for you to sit down nice and comfy on.

Ally
Yes I get your point. We have booked up for the white week again in December however, that will be our third visit and as you say there are so many new places to explore. We are tempted to give Lech a visit but are not sure if you can ski there in early December?

Anyway, have a great time.

Thanks

People should go wherever they want to go, it's personal choice I say. We may be back one day.
Lech is quite low but there's definitely snow in December, I don't know if it opens early but it may be worth a look in the future.

Ally: I'm not sure about my shoulder, it hurts when I wake up and if I try to do certain yoga moves. Apart from that it just feels a bit tender, but I'm trying not to think about it. It's just a slight strain of some sort, I can live with it
