I can categoricaly say that Mrs W is not my sister ...... she turned me down

This thread was going so well. I even found it useful for about 3 seconds.

Always contemplated joining but could never justify the fee, assuming you book through the club then the fee more than covers any discount - is that a fair comment?

Is that £82 off the hugely inflated full retail price?

We were members for a couple of years but never got the money back in discounts. There are always discounts on the things I thought I'd use it for that were usually better and not compatible. Saying that I probably didn't try hard enough. We ski as part of a group so the holiday discounts never came into use. Chill Factor, I used their discounts. Ellis Brigham, I rarely buy a huge amount from there in one year. I wouldn't say it's not worth the money. Just that I didn't get enough out of membership.
