Ian, with respect, you've already made your views on this topic known. If you don't want to read a thread about the food we eat while skiing, then just skip over it.
I'm not sure if you have it across the pond, but we have freedom of speech over here![]()
And I will continue to post on what ever thread I wish .... I thank you![]()
Only if you put up a picture of your tea.....and it better be good

Rest assured I shall not be posting a piccy of my tea, I don't think I have reached that level of sadness quite yet

The comment had a wiff of bobble persecution complex. It would be like me commenting a powder skiing thread that I think carving is better - just a waste of a post.
because I'm so inclined .....
I am impressed that they serve a Thai soup in a mountai restaurant. In self-served restaurants here it's usually vegetable or gulash and I suspect both come ready made from a supermarket. proper restaurants are much better of course if you want to spend over an hour for lunch, but they are also more expensive and food although of very good quality is still fairly basic: steak, roestli, fondue, pasta.
To be honest, I think the food on offer at Hemsedal is excellent. Fresh homemade soups and as much bread as you like, prawn/crayfish salads, Thai soup/salad, decent burgers (according to our friends - we didn't partake), hearty meat and potato stew, pasta dishes, very tasty cakes, free spring fed water. All proper food being prepared before your eyes.

Don't quite understand that one, but I'm sure it makes sense to you
