Hi Snapzzz, been away so just catching up. Yes, Eden Arc is very nice. You should enjoy it, they have a great pool and health area.

There is a bus that runs up and down every evening for apree, but I am not sure what time it stops.

You can ski in / out and it is even ok for beginners as it is right on the beginner piste.

I do not think there are any bars (maybe one) open at Eden arc yet as they are still building phase 2. But it should be good when finished (not this winter).

Hope you have a good holiday. Drop me a PM if you fancy meeting up.

Will do, it would be great to meet up with someone that knows the area and can show me the best runs.

The group I go with has a couple of novices. They really enjoyed the long runs over in La Plagne. I know it means getting an all area pass, but they did think it was worth it. Other than that what most people say on here seems pretty much spot on. Hope it helps. Oh, try skiworld for accomodation.

Just out of interest, as we are considering Les Arcs this winter, what is in Peisey Vallandry after dark, is it a tiny place with nothing going on or are there pubs or easy access to somewhere a bit more lively?

From my research (before booking 1800) i learned that it is generally quiet. There are bars and restaurants but its all but nothing too lively.
1800 seems to be the best for nightlife which influenced my choice, especially as we are there for NYE.
