We were out in Alp D'Huez on 25th Feb for a week and loads of the mountain was left untouched by the piste bashes. I've written a response to the piste Bashing thread as the pistes were in such a bad condition.

The snow is going. They haven't been getting any real new stuff and the week we were there it was way too hot.

If lots of new snow was there and the French weren't so bl**dy lazy I can see this resort as being a really nice ski resort. I for one from my experience will not be going back to there or France soon.

Returned from ADH last week. Desperate need for fresh snow, by lunch time it was very slushy. Still had a great holiday, the resort is excellent and caters for all abilities.

I think you have made that point on the other post, there is no reason to repeat your harsh/rude comments here.

Whilst I think the bashers ought to come out during the day if it gets chopped out, I'm delighted to hear you'll be going elsewhere to keep the slopes of ADH free, as I'd go back there, early season anyway.

The trouble is with a lot of the idiots I saw on the slopes I think it would be carnage .... perhaps thats a good thing
