We are going skiing/snowboarding next march and thinking of stay at Samnaun Dorf as they seem flexible the days you can stay
Whats run 80 like back to the town ,does it flatten out ,do you have to walk any part and the same from the town down to the lift
Also are there any bars in the area for one or two drinks after dinner
thanks

If you type Samnaun 80 into YouTube it looks like a few people have posted videos of that run.

Thanks Andy
I always tell people Google or Youtube.I should of took my own advice .
It does seem to flatten out in place which might upset the boarders in our group, but on the other hand im on skis so stuff them

All the more reason to take the boarders that way!

As far as I can remember, run 80 is fine for getting back to the town and down to the cablecar. However, there is a long flat section at the end. I think there is just about enough slope to keep you moving on skis - not sure about on a board  . Run 60 will also get you down on the Samnaun side but leaves you well below the village and the cablecar. Its a bus up from the end of the run  .
I am sure there is somewhere to get a drink in Samnaun but I don't think it is a very lively spot. Also, it is definitely quite a bit more expensive on the Swiss side of the mountain. Even the mountain restaurants on the Swiss side are significantly more expensive than on the Austrian side. This seems weird since they are all part of the same ski area but there you go
The apres ski in Ischgl itself is particularly lively
