I'm pretty much settled on VT for Easter 2015, anyone know any good apartments?

Many get shocking reviews :-(

Presume you've had a look on Owner's Direct? There are quite a few on there although a lot do look to be at the shoddier end of the marketplace for some reason.

I think one of the problems with recommending places is that you need to have stayed there fairly recently.
My daughter and I stayed in Les Olympiades (Belambra), in the Caron district in the centre of VT about 8 years ago, and it was really great. We went with Inghams and the apartment was fine and the location was really good.
But I had a look at the reviews for it on Trip Advisor just now and they were really terrible - it's 27th out of 30 in VT :(
So obviously it's gone seriously downhill since we were there.

I would have thought you'd be safe enough going with Pierre et Vacances and staying somewhere like Les Temples du Soleil.

Top on Trip Advisor (1st out of 37) is Oxalys but it's a luxury sort of place, and a lot more expensive :(

It is a rowdy, partying sort of resort, so there's going to be noise at night if you're in the centre. And what's more, when we were there the snow-ploughs were working all night and we could hear them.
But pretty much everywhere is more or less ski in/ski out - which is great :)

Like anything, depends what you want.

I have stayed at the Montana apartments, very nice but bit pricey http://www.vmontana.com/uk/residence-val-thorens.php

I have also stayed at Cheval Blanc. You say the reviews are not very good, stayed there with dad and had a really good time there. Are you going as a family or just you and the other half? Makes a difference

Bit of a broad brush statement saying that it is a rowdy resort. Where were you staying when you experienced the rowdy noise first hand as you said when you were there it was great.

There is one strip at the top of the town that has a load of pubs on. The accommodation there is pretty basic so you would not be there anyway ;)

When I was there in January, we where about a 5 min walk walk this horrendous rowdy area and did not hear a thing ;) It is about as rowdy as Sauze mate :)

DO NOT stay at Residence Valset. It is horrific!! http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g196716-d1142265-r123562139-Residence_le_Valset-Val_Thorens_Savoie_Rhone_Alpes.html#REVIEWS
