I hate typing so no long trip report but any questions im happy to answer

The skiing was excellent but Its not a place for beginners as its mostly reds and the Blues are more like reds, also the final 200 yards of the run back to the Gaislachkogl lift station is a crowded mogul filled run of sugar/sand type snow

I'm going out to Solden in a few weeks.

Apart from the bumpy, 200 yard, run back home I would guess from your post that the rest of the resort was good.
What were the lift queues like during the day.
I also noticed on the resort web site that the glaciers were closed on some days. Was this because of high winds or poor visibility.
Did you complete the Big3 route. What was that like if you did.
I was told "if you lean, you fall". I've tried and I did.

Was there Christmas and new year, heading out again late March.
Long queues at the giggioch in the morning, use the gaislakogel if you can. Blue back down to Innerwald or there's reds and a red/black combo too.
Lovely resort, quiet bars and loads of party apres too if you want it.
Chris and co, Irish bar (green frontage) does good guinness as well as local beer and shows premiership footie. Located on the main road (dorfstasse), just past a couple if the hotels about a 5minute walk from before the gaislakogel lift. You can get pizza from the take away a couple of doors along and they deliver to the bar!
Guaranteed a welcome from Chris, Christof, Bago and Christina at Chris and Co.

I never queued more than 5 minutes and most lifts straight on.It was a little windy at the very top but i think they closed them due to viability but never for very long .I did do the Big 3 but not in one day .But there's no reason it couldn't be done.
Blue 30 can run a little flat in places so get some good speed before you hit the flats. The only run i didnt realy try was 21/22 back to Giggijoch lift station as were staying about 100 meters fron Gaislachkogl lift station.

Have to 100% agree with njw964 about Chris and co, Irish bar and Pizzeria Milano next door..We would eat in the Pizzeria (lots of varied dishes) then into the irish bar next door. From the front the Pizzera looks like a cheap Takeaway but out the back it has a very nice seating area.

The only place I fell over in a week was on the 'corridor' to the Gaislachkogl lift (brilliant lift, by the way) which was really frustrating, having skied a fantastic run from the very top of the Rettenbach glacier. It's a horrible, confined, end to a fantastic mountain!
