I am new here and would like to begin with a rant, a rant that actually originates from some of my buddies with whom i skied in Austria and Italy in recent weeks.
Well first of all the conditions were not perfect for skiing two weeks ago, the snow in the Otztal valley was fine but not great, same goes for Livigno Italy, but in all we had a fine time.
[Xenophobic nonsense removed - read the rules - Admin]
well enough rants for the one time.
[it most certainly is - bye]
I just think that beside the skiing/snow/weather conditions, ski resorts should also post how many visitors are expected approx on each given day/week.

Today, in my third week in Niederau, I was mostly skiing with almost 100% Austrians. I am considering writing to my MP......

There were equally as many German, Dutch and Austrian voices. We did notice a significant increase in Brits too in Solden.
While I may question how people from a seeming very poor country can afford such trips, it is possible. Po!and I believe is rich in shale gas.
We should remember that the UK has people living in poverty and yet many of us are fortunate enough to go skiing, I personally am heading out to Solden again in March.
Regardless of where people are from, and let's be honest do we genetically all really know we are 100% British, Austrian, French, Polish etc, does it matter?
As long as we all have a great time and are safe, then we're all just skiers or boarders.
Have fun where ever you're going this year.

Skied in Italy last year and France this year and the only poles I saw where those in our hands. Though tbh, I am not up in languages so apart from a few languages I wouldn't know where anyone is from.
What does it matter who is from where.

I would go back straight away if I could. Austria is a beautiful place with friendly people and our group loved every moment of it.
It's always nice to post a positive!!!!
