Hi
I spent 2 months in Peisey/Vallandry last season re-furbing a chalet so got to know the area really well, the main bar in Peisey is The Flying Squirrel which is owned and run by an Englishman Will and his girlfriend Any.
There are 2 really good restaurants Le Vache which is again is ownwed by 2 English sisters Chloe & Fi and the food is absolutly fantastic, it is very informal and relaxing atmosphere. The other is Le Solan which is right next to the Vanoise Cable car during the day they serve excellent pizza's and at night the restaurant is very nice, very French.
Vallandry is a little livelier at night, the Mont Blanc has live bands on a few nights a week and always a good night out.
Hope this helps
