of course I can use any of them, but I chose to use to use a Tracker by way of a recommendation. An F1 still has about the greatest receive range though, maybe 30 metres greater than a Pulse or DTS

My F1 wasn't that reliable. It stopped working after about 3 years of moderate use. Took it to a dealer, who wanted me to pay them £20 to return it to Ortovox. Took it to a different dealer who returned it for me. Nearly a year later, after a lot of chasing, the shop admitted they had no idea what had happened to my F1 and gave me a brand new M2, which has been fine ever since.

As an update, we now have two new Mammut Pulses in the kit larder which are the weapons of choice right now.
