A lot of the resort websites have an 'accommodation request' form where you submit your requirements and then you will receive emails from various hotels/guest houses with their best offers. I have found this a good way to get decent accommodation at a reasonable price.

Thanks Guys for reply! Some friends suggested Lech, some- Serfaus. We are driving from UK, so as close as possible to Uk. Although not too far from ski slops(decent driving distance).

Well we always stay in a place called leogang but we fly so I'm not too sure about distance from the uk. It's 45 mins from Salzburg. We stay in a place called ferrienhaus sonnrain and it's owned and run by an English couple. We will be going back out in march as we love it so much. We have never had bad snow and the area is huge. Just my experience. The lady's name is Nadia race. Great place. Great company. Fab food at the local restaurants or as each appt is self catering you can cook at home. Supermarket us only a 5 minuite walk. Slopes are 5 minuite drive by car or bus. I can't recommend it enough. Hope this helps.

You don't say how good the skiers are. I would have thought Lech is too advanced and too expensive. Leogagng is a nice resort and reasonably accessible. Taurus is also compact and good for beginners.
Filzmoos is great for children and the ski schools are really good. There is a quite a lot of self-catering accommodation and the Tourist Office are very helpful. You really can't go wrong in Austria. They care about customer service and love kids, unlike the French, in my experience. Why don't you get a few ski brochures and se what they say about differenT resorts? Then consult AA maps to see how easy the driving routes are. Have fun!

Cheers for the info! Ski levels are different as my hubby and I have been skiing for few years now, but kids only started last year, and the youngest never been. Friend has recommended Serfaus, as child friendly place, but finding accommodation is proven to be a task. I am checking booking.com, but would be grateful if you have any other webs to find the accommodation.
