Hello
me and my wife are going to have some 3 days ski holidays in France or may be in western Switzerland but not sure where to go. I am looking for resort with best quality of easy and medium piste and Lift facilities.
Also it will be kind if you advise the village name where to book the hotel. I am looking the place to book hotel where there is plenty of thinks to do in the evening time.
p.s it will be first time for us to ski in alps. we are intermediate and beginner skiers

Look at Les Gets, part of the Portes du Soleil ski area and quite easy to access for a short break. http://www.lesgets.com/ The beginners area is mid-mountain with wide open pistes and a sunny aspect. There's extensive intermediate territory higher up and towards Morzine. The village is traditional with lots of bars and restaurants. There are some hotels just a few steps away from the piste - we stayed in the Chalet Hotel Marmotte, overlooking the front de neige http://www.hotel-marmotte.com which I would recommend.

Morzine is located right in the centre of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area. There are challenging black runs through to shallow hills and runs for beginners - it is ideal for skiers of all abilities.

283 runs
650km of pistes

If you choose to spend the day off the slopes, there are plenty of places to discover in the town. There is an ice rink and Aquariaz, the highest waterpark in Europe. Give ice diving in Lake Montriond a go or try paragliding activity through the mountains to take in the breathtaking scenery.
