We are going to S&H in January with Neilson. We have bought the Salzburg super pass for £206 each, not realising there's a local pass for £50 cheaper. Does anyone recommend the more expensive one? Can't see us venturing further afield unless someone recommends travelling to other resorts? Any advice appreciated.

Having travelled to leogang , zell , s&h on numerous occasions I would highly reccomend sticking with the super salzberger pass. There are so many resorts linked up that you can just keep going. Also if you did fancy, only a short bus ride away is the hochkonig trail which is fantastic and there is the kitzsteinhorn glacier which is well worth a visit. We always go at least once. Only my opinion from experience. Hope it helps.

Shellski, are you sure about the cost of a local pass for £50 cheaper?
The standard 6 day pass costs €227, or €216 in January, and this covers Sallbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang.
The Kitsbuhel Allstar pass would have been another option, and worth considering, should you be managing a 2nd/3rd week in Western Tirol.
