Keep bottles inside and mixers/cans on balcony/windowsill

Don't want the neighbours sampling the goodies.

Not just crap fridges, but make crap fridges make crap fridges

I find they simply either freeze solid, explode or dont get cold enough. Putting beer on the balcony is a great idea until you have to have a beer lollipop

Back to my question then, I can have a chosen drink before dinner without being forced to go to town? I am not bothered about paying, but is great to be able to chill after a long day with a good drink before dinner

Yes

I have always taken my own booze into a chalet, its polite to inform the staff that you'll be doing that, but they wont have a problem with it. We've taken bottles of beer and spirits before, never a problem. The only free booze in the chalet is wine with dinner - some places are tight with it and will fill your glass up for you, some leave you the bottle/giraffe to abuse, others simply let you have as much as you want when you want (Skiworld from experience)
