I'm off to La Plagne for the first time in March, one of the few big resorts I've not ticked off. Really looking forward to it. I organised a trip there a few years ago but couldn't go myself.
I've been to Les Arcs a couple of times, so know that side of Paradiski fairly well.

What are the must do runs in La Plagne? Blues, reds, blacks or off-piste. I'll ski anything.

Also which mountain restaurants should we seek out?

There's a nice red from the top of Verduns Sud down into Chamapgny...I also liked the run down to Montalbert ...non of the mountain restaurants stick in the memory apart from the one at the top of the Borseliers lift...we used to ski back to the apartment for lunch..they are all extortionate as I recall

From memory (it's been 10 years+), I think it's the off-piste that you'll enjoy the most; definitely worth getting a guide for a day to show you some of the safer routes.

Families and mileage-hunters love the abundance of wide "motorway" skiing, but most people overlook the off-piste so there are often freshies to be had for quite a while after any new snow.

Andyhull,

You can try the new piste natures for safe off piste in La Plagne now as well. Just like the ones that have been open in Les Arcs for a few years. They say that the ones in the Bellecote bowl will be reopening. There are also a few on the Aime Plagne side and down to Champagny and you do not need a guide for them.

If you want more info take a look at the season thread on here for Les Arcs paradiski for other info or over on my Les Arcs winter facebook page. Loads of stuff about La Plagne there as well.

Mattski, where are you working. I am out all season and ski over the La Plagne side most weeks. If you want to meet up send me a PM here or over on my facebook page. Same for you andyhull if you fancy a ski. You did say you can ski anything!!

For places to eat. The restaurant above Mont Albert, Forperet is very nice. Also the one above Champagny, just across from the top of the Borselier chair. These are the two I like the most in La Plagne but there are loads of others.
