Hi all,
Heading to Andorra for some boarding... I know it's had to tell if there will be snow but we are going over for the middle of Jan and staying in Arinsal at hotel St Gothard so if anybody could pass on information about snow fall and resort that would be great. :D Hope to see you on the slopes too :D

I went in Jan Last year and had a good time ...also stayed in the Gothard and thought it was great value..Pal is much better than Arinsal and worth the trip in the gondola...THe ski bus will take about 30 minutes to Arcalis..which is the best area of the 3

Top tip, if not to late and you can, then switch resort to Pas or Soldeu. Arinsal is small and you will be bored in a day or two if you are a half decent boarder.

Other than that, don't worry. There will be plenty of snow by then.
Skied: Arinsal, La Plagne, Alpe D'huez, Flaine, Les Arcs, Morzine, Les Gets, Avoriaz, Sauze, Courchevel, Val Thorens

Hi went to andorra last year. We originally learnt to ski there years ago and decided to re visit as we got a great deal. This was our first time staying at St Gothard and we thought it was great. Very good value, we were full board are were pleasantly surprised with quality, quantity and variety of food and we like our food!!. You do have to get the bus up to ski lift in the morning if acrrying gear but it s regular so was not a problem and we walked down in the evening. As we had progressed from beginner level we stayed in arinsal of a day and half , did pal another day and a half and then visit arcalis on 2 different days so between all 3 resorts we felt well catered for. It s not as big as the big french resorts but there is a great atmosphere, very quaint village and lovely people and very good apres ski and reasonable priced resort so we have enjoyed it as much as our visits many years ago. The snow is usually good in January so hopefully you ll have plenty :)
Enjoy life, you only get one chance!
