Just about to book for Alpe d'Huez
and I am very excited. Just wanted to share
We are tied to the hell that is February Half Term but we've found a great apartment in the old town, so armed with Tony H's report from last year I reckon we'll be fine.

Good Choice!

BTW, I was reading your thread about getting Meg her own boots - we got Joe his own last season and it made all the difference. Plus we didn't have stinking socks because of hire boots any more - bonus!!

I know Tony has been twice so no doubt he will be along to contribute too.

On the Route du Signal, just by the yogurt pot lifts! Not too far from the Grande Sure chair either which I suspect we'll be using!

I loved this resort. A good mix of old and new and everything within reach. Great skiing too. very jealous. We are looking to go back next season too. Enjoy.
I can see my house from here...
Brilliant resort. Skiing is excellent, old town has some nice bars and restaurants, you wont be disappointed.
PM me if you need any specific info.
Gde Sure chair......I believe from memory thats whats we called the Secret Chair, as it was hard to find initially!
Takes you up to Signal without a single queue though, and up into the higher areas quicker.
Good choice.

The sure chair is a old two man lift though and quite slow but no queues.
Nice of piste through trees below it too.
