Hi,
I was wondering what the Dachstien west ski area is like, it looks very scenic. Are the runs mostly intermediate level, is there any more decent skiing nearby, where is the best place to stay in the area?

I have never skied there but get the impression that the skiing is fairly limited. I gather it is very pretty though. Gosau usually gets a mention as a pretty village ache is also Obertraun (not to be confused with Obertauern)
