OK How much do you pay for a Coke for example or a pizza on the piste restaurants/cafes

I was chocked that I was charged €3 for a 500ml bottle in Bormio

That sounds about right for slope side eateries.
I always buys a large 2l bottle for a supermarket and fill my own each morning.

It's 4 or 5 Swiss francs for a 500ml bottle of water in Swiss resorts that I've been to. Having said that I rarely buy water on a mountain, I ski with a backpack and normally carry a hydration sling.

I went bankrupt after a week in Switzerland a few years ago.

Everyone seemed to bring their own drinks and food.

the french seem to have a system that, if they are not doing enough business they put the price up....a couple of years ago it was€3.2 for a pack of crisps in Flaine and coffee at €2.5 in a paper cup...\i take a backpack now ..so they make no profit now from me at least...In Andorra at least you get value so you don't mind spending on the slopes..

Depends where you are, obviously. I dont think 3 euros is high for a coke.

13 euros for one of the best pizzas I have ever had in La Grange in ADH was good value IMO. Bearing in mind its location, view, quality of food....etc.
