Considering flying to Geneva from Dublin on 9th April.
We are looking for intermediate skiing within 2 hours of Geneva.
We have looked at Les deux alpes and Saas Fee.
What are your thoughts? / recommendations?

Either of those resorts would be a good choice, as both should be open until the end of April.

That is one of the Easter weeks, of course, so you may want to be booking something soon rather than waiting until last minute.

Picky, picky... millstreet just needs to turn left out of the airport rather than right...

They will also need to take into account:

Different Currency

Different road pricing model

Different M'way speed limit

The local language will be similar as long as they stay on the correct side of the Rostigraben )

We're off to Saas Fee on 17 March. Will report back on conditions but you might not be able to wait that long before booking.

Don't worry about it Millstreet, in the mountains even the locals don't always know which country they're in

When they found the remains of the prehistoric man Otzi near Obergurgl it took them ages to work out whether the site was in Austria or Italy

Wow, Les Deux Alpes is a bit of a drive from Geneva (about 3 hours??). Why not consider Flaine, Avoriaz, Les Arcs, or Val Thorens ? They should all be in good condition in early April.
